RoobLi publishes essays with sources, series written in parts, projects with a log of what changed, short notes and dated posts, on GPU programming, interface design and the tools people work with.
Each piece is written to stand on its own.
Language
The site is English-first. Some essays also have a Chinese version, linked from the top of the page, and posts are written in either language. Linked projects may have Chinese tracks of their own, such as the CUDA C++ Course.
Privacy
The site counts visits with Google Analytics 4. It records which pages are viewed, whether a page was scrolled to the end, which outside links are followed, and what Google derives from each visit: an approximate location at city or country level, the device, browser and language, and the page that linked here. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses.
It sets two first-party cookies, _ga and _ga_<ID>, which hold a random identifier for up to two years so that a returning reader is not counted twice. Advertising features, Google signals and ad personalization are off, the data is not shared with Google for other purposes, and event-level data is deleted after 14 months.
A browser that sends Global Privacy Control is not counted at all. Blocking cookies, or scripts from googletagmanager.com, stops the counting as well. Google explains how it handles this data in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
